Haileigh Eichorn, 26, April 28, 2013, Bloomington, McLean County, Illinois

April 28, 2013 Haileigh Eichorn was last seen alive.

Heileigh had recently been caught stealing little items at Kroger including soap, lip balm and mascara. A week after that incident she was found by police huffing compressed air in a Walmart bathroom. A week after that she was found huffing outside of a funeral home. When questioned, she told police that her she was homeless, broke and that her life sucked.

Shortly after, Haileigh disappeared.

May 7, 2013 Haileigh's body was discovered in Stanford, Illinois

Haileigh was found deceased by a farmer about fifteen miles west of Bloomington. No details on her death was reported, though her mother stated she had been raped and strangled. Autopsy showed she had been assaulted.

In a twist, a man named Sebert Crose, 35 of Normal, Illinois was also found deceased on the same day Haileigh was reported missing. The two apparently knew each other. Both struggled with drug abuse. Is there a connection?

Sebert Crose was reported missing April 15, 2013. He reportedly bought beer twice from a grocery store in Normal, Illinois, deposited a large work check of over a thousand dollars, only withdrawing $160. About 10:30 P.M. he was seen on surveillance camera at a convenience store on Locust and Clinton Streets. He bought cigarettes and a crack pipe. He was in his truck on video, and it is unknown if there was a passenger in his vehicle. He was reported missing 4 days later.

April 28, 2013 his body was found in Evergreen Lake in Hudson at the Comlara Park boat launch. They were unable to locate his truck. The cause of death was accidental drowning, no signs of trauma, alcohol content 0.106 and cocaine in his system. His truck was later found May 5, 2013 with both doors closed and unlocked with the windows rolled up. The gear shift was in reverse. The family suspects foul play. Sebert's case is officially closed.

Seber's funeral was held at Beck Memorial Home in Bloomington, Illinois and buried at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. He left behind a his son, family and loved ones.

There was no services or visitation for Haileigh. She was cremated. Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur, Illinois was in charge of arrangements.
