This is the press release made by the Bollinger County Sherriff's Office in Missouri after she was located:

On Thursday, October 14th, 2021, the Bollinger County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a missing person. The missing person was identified as twenty-one (21) year old Brianna Roberts of Illinois. After family members reported Brianna as missing, the Bollinger County Sheriff’s Office began an investigation into the report. Throughout the course of the investigation, it was found that Kaitlyn Morgan and Eric Nanney of Glen Allen, Missouri, were the last known individuals to have had contact with Brianna. The Bollinger County Sheriff’s Office was aware of that information due to responding to a dispute at Kaitlyn and Eric's residence involving all three individuals on Wednesday, October 13th, 2021. Once that information was determined, Investigators with the Bollinger County Sheriff’s Office and the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control conducted interviews with Kaitlyn, Eric, and Eric’s father, Ricky Nanney.

During those interviews, information was obtained in reference to Brianna being deceased due to an assault that had occurred on Thursday, October 14th, 2021. Once that information was obtained, Investigators with both agencies conducted a search warrant at a residence within Bollinger County, Missouri, to collect evidence pertaining to this investigation. During the service of the search warrant, human remains were located on the property. After those remains were located, it was discovered that the victim was stabbed and shot multiple times. Additionally, it was found that the limbs of the deceased had been removed from the body. Investigators later located what appeared to be additional remains in a separate location along with several other items of evidence. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday, October 18th, 2021.

After the information pertaining to this investigation was obtained and evidence was collected, Kaitlyn, Eric, and Ricky were placed under arrest. On Friday, October 15th, 2021, arrest warrants were issued for their arrest. The information pertaining to those arrest warrants is as follows:

All three subjects remain in custody and incarcerated at the time of this press release. Additionally, they are all presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.

I would like to personally thank Investigators with the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control and the Bollinger County Coroner’s Office for their assistance throughout this investigation.

All further questions pertaining to this investigation will be referred to Bollinger County Prosecuting Attorney Stephen P. Gray.

A tribute written for Brianna Roberts

This tribute is written in memory of Brianna Roberts. " Breezy" ,as she was known by her family and friends, was brutally murdered in Bollinger County, Missouri this week. She had worked briefly with me at Walmart. She was a sweet young whom I wish that I gotten to know better. She was the daughter of Shawn McDonald and Mike Franklin whom I went to school with. As a parent, I can't imagine what pain her parents are going through right now. She was 21 years old and her life was just beginning. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her. It is at this time that I write a tribute in her name.

Beloved daughter and friend, the pain is Real that we feel. It is with hearts that are heavy And tear stained faces that we encounter a New day. You are Near And

Dear to Everyone whose life you touched. You will Never be forgotten. Indescribable feelings are felt Since you left this world. Each day, we will take one at a time

Remembering your loved ones in Our thoughts and prayers. You were a Beautiful soul whose life Ended before it Really had a chance to Truly begin. You will be So missed by all.
