Updated: Sep 2, 2022

Brandy Osborne of Johnston City, Illinois was last seen on Valentine's Day 2020 when she went to visit someone she knew at the barge company in Calvert City, Marshall County, Kentucky. She has never been seen or heard from since. Her vehicle was found there when she parked the vehicle when she went to the location.

Multiple searches including ground and water searches, drones and K9's on ground and water, along with sonar with negative results.

The Missing Persons Awareness Network NFP 501(c)3 was unaware of her disappearance until 10/8/2021, 20 months after she disappeared. We will be working to ensure Brandy is in the NAMUS database. We will be working with her family and law enforcement with multiple agencies to acquire additional information and do what we can to bring her home.

We will be traveling to the area soon.

From the surface with what we have been told, foul play is possible. We will continue our investigation to have a more solid background in order to move Brandy's case forward.

If you have any information, please contact the Kentucky State Police Department or contact us at the numbers on our poster. You can remain anonymous with our organization.

OUR DOCUMENTARY PER OUR INVESTIGATION

The last person seen with Brandy was the man she had just broke up with days prior to her disappearance on Valentines Day, 2020. She moved out of his house. There was a history of Domestic Violence in their relationship. His name is Jacob Minton.

April 12, 2021, (after Brandy Osborne's disappearance), Jacob was charged with aggravated domestic batter, and unlawful restraint in connection to his then-girlfriend being beaten, and thrown out of a moving vehicle with Minton as the driver of that vehicle. He was held on a $100K bond after being located and picked up by the Washington County Sheriff's Office in Okawville, Illinois. On August 26, 2022, per a plea deal, Minton was found guilty and sentenced to 5 years, with up to an additional 4 years, with 462 days credit served.

Brandy continues missing.
