The body recovered in Tazewell County has been identified as Kyle McMurtrey, 34 of Washington. He was pronounced dead at 10:15 A.M. The cause and manner of death has not yet been released. Kyle worked at Maloney Service and Supply Co.

The Illinois State Police with the Tazewell County Coroner's Office is investigating a body that has been discovered behind the Washington Plaza in a drainage ditch located just east of the AMC in Washington.
The body is that of a male. He was pronounced deceased at 10:15AM June 17, 2020. At this time they do have the deceased identification but has not publicly given that information.
No additional information has yet been released.
