The Illinois State Police and the Henry-Mercer Investigation Task have discovered an unidentified body of a man has been found in Atkinson, Illinois about 9:00 AM Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at the Ecology Solutions landfill.
The description of the deceased male is that of a black male with a bald head and not from the area. His death is considered a homicide.
