2022 Illinois Missing Children's Conference
The Missing Persons Awareness Network NFP 501(c)3 is hosting our first Conference Training for Law Enforcement Agents across Illinois (local, county, state and federal).

We recognize that collaborating across agencies and non-government organizations is critical in bringing each of our children to safety. Coming together to know our resources and combine forces is the best direction in achieving this goal.

The scope is on abductions, trafficking, exploitation, online and gaming predators to name the main factors of this conference.

The child abduction rapid deployment team for the north central region of the federal bureau of investigation, craig burge of the Illinois state police for the amber alert, and the Kankakee County State Attorney James Rowe. will be training and speaking.
We will continue to update our speakers and trainers as we get confirmation.

the focus will be on best practices regarding missing children and recovery of missing children.

If you are law enforcement and would like to attend the training, please click on the link below to sign up and receive additional information. The sign up is first come serve.

Steven's Ride - In Memory of Steven Wayne Butler III

Steven, just 14 of Champaign, Illinois spent his day as normal, trying to achieve his goal and raise money by mowing neighbor's lawn's. Friday, July 29, 2021, however, Steven left his house and was never seen alive again. Approximately 14 hours later his body would be found by two bicyclists about 9 miles from his home, murdered. About 4 hours after he was found, a suspect was named and charged in Steven's disappearance and murder. His family, law enforcement, our organization and the entire community came to grieve the loss and tragic, horrific events that we learned regarding Steven's death. No child should ever die, and no family should ever suffer this way. We must stand up and rise with Steven's family never letting his name fade, but come together instead to create Steven's Legacy and be his voice, by creating Steven's Law.

This Ride was put together with an amazing group of bikers and stepped up to celebrate Steven's life and let the world know his name, sharing this run with Steven's dad leading the Bike Run on this day. A petition for Steven's Law has been created and the signing of the petition will begin at this run as we begin our journey to raise 364,000 signatures in the name of Steven to save our future children.

We hope you will join us.
